Miller Mayer immigration attorney Steve Yale-Loehr recently received approval of an EB-5 I-526 petition for an immigrant investor in a regional center sponsored project. After the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services issued a request for additional evidence, Miller Mayer prepared a strong response that resulted in the petition’s approval. Our client, an investor from Canada, can now file an application to receive their EB-5 visa to enter the United States with their family and begin their permanent residency. Additionally, because of the Child Status Protection Act, one of their dependent children who turned 21 years old after the I-526 petition was filed can still be included in the immigrant visa application to receive a visa.
Miller Mayer regularly represents EB-5 investors, having filed over 6,000 I-526 petitions so far. If you are interested in learning more about EB-5 as an immigration pathway to the United States, or if you need experienced immigration counsel to guide you through any visa process, schedule a consultation with a Miller Mayer attorney at https://millermayer.com/immigration-consultation/.
