Miller Mayer immigration attorney Steve Yale-Loehr will give three talks in Sarasota and Venice, Florida, on March 6 and 7, 2018.
On March 6, he will speak at 10:30 am at the First United Methodist Church, 104 S. Pineapple Ave., Sarasota, and at 2:30 pm at the Venice Community Center, 326 Nokomis Ave. South, Venice, about Green Card Stories. This book puts a human face on immigration, moving the debate beyond divisive politics and into the landscape of everyday America. The individuals profiled in the book illustrate how immigrants are contributing to our nation today.
On March 7, Mr. Yale-Loehr will talk about our broken immigration system and how to fix it at 10:30 am at the First United Methodist Church, 104 S. Pineapple Ave., Sarasota.
All three talks are through the Sarasota Institute of Lifetime Learning. For further information, visit the SILL website.
