Last week Miller Mayer immigration attorney Steve Yale-Loehr received the Mark Kenmore Award from the upstate NY chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). The award is given annually to the chapter member who helps mentor other immigration attorneys. Steve was honored to receive the award from his peers. He noted that because of recent immigration policy changes, immigration law is even more complex now than when he started 35+ years ago. “It takes a village to practice immigration law these days,” he said, adding that he is glad to be a member of Miller Mayer and AILA, where people share knowledge and tips so readily.
