The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has proposed dramatic increases in fees for family, business, and naturalization filings. Comments are due by December 30, 2019. The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) has made it easy for interested persons to comment by providing a customizable model comment. Miller Mayer urges anyone who has concerns about these fee increases (which do not promise improved service or processing times) to provide a comment by the deadline. Comments are more effective when they are individualized, so please customize your comment to reflect your unique voice and concerns.
