The U.S. government is presently operating under a temporary funding bill until November 21, 2019. Members of Congress recently announced that a deal had been reached to extend federal government funding for one month, to December 20. Several immigration provisions would be part of the one-month extension. These include the EB-5 immigrant investor program, the Conrad 30 J-1 waiver program, the E-Verify program, and the special religious workers program.
