Immigration law practitioners from Cornell Law School and Miller Mayer will hold three know your rights sessions this month for current registered Cornell students. Each session will cover recent changes in the law, legal rights, and Cornell policies and resources, and offer time for Q&A.
Friday, September 8, 2:45 – 3:45 PM, Room 290, Myron Taylor Hall
Monday, September 11, 6:30 – 7:30 PM, Room 429, Rockefeller Hall
Thursday, September 21, 3:30 – 4:30 PM, Room G90, Myron Taylor Hall
These three sessions are open only to current registered Cornell students, though we will be assisting with other sessions that will be more public. If you would like to request support for developing or holding a know your rights presentation, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org (Cornell Law School), email@example.com (Cornell Farmworker Program), or firstname.lastname@example.org (Tompkins County Immigrants’ Rights Coalition). Please note that filming, taping, and photographs of the audience will not be permitted at this session. Students who wish to discuss their individual cases are encouraged to set up a private legal consultation by emailing email@example.com.
