Miller Mayer immigration attorney Steve Yale-Loehr co-authored a report entitled ” At the Breaking Point: Rethinking the U.S. Immigration Court System,” published by the Migration Policy Institute. The report traces the factors that have driven the U.S. immigration court system to crisis. The report assesses steps needed to improve the courts’ functioning and offers recommendations that the executive branch could implement to address massive backlogs and improve the pace and quality of decision-making.
