RANDAL L. REED

Randall L. Reed is an Attorney Of Counsel in Miller Mayer’s Civil Litigation, Business Services and Intellectual Property Law practice groups.
Mr. Reed’s practice focus is on intellectual property. Mr. Reed has extensive experience representing clients in all phases of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, unfair competition, intellectual property litigation, and business and commercial matters related to intellectual property. Mr. Reed’s experience includes preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications, licensing, litigation, and related commercial and business matters as they relate to intellectual property law, both domestic and foreign. His patent prosecution experience includes preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the digital, electronic, optical, software, computer, mechanical, business method, medical device and semiconductor arts, as well as managing prosecution of foreign patent applications, including opposition proceedings in the European Patent Office. Additionally, Mr. Reed’s litigation experience includes representing clients in court from initiation of an action to jury verdict and post-judgment appeal, as well as managing major intellectual property lawsuits as in-house counsel.
Mr. Reed is a member of the California and New York State bars. He is also a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He received his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Scranton.
