TRAVEL BAN AND LITIGATION

President Trump has made immigration a main focus of his executive decisions since entering office. The controversial ‘Travel Ban’ signed on January 27, 2017 impacted refugees from any country and individuals traveling on a passport from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, or Yemen. The ban has since been repealed, however, Trump introduced a new Executive Order on March 6, 2017 that narrowed the scope of the travel ban while still maintaining the premise of the original ban. Efforts to ban travel from certain countries is being closely tracked by Miller Mayer, and updates will be posted here regularly.
